GENEVA: Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, DG of WHO, talking to the journalists at a Presser held here on Wednesday (12th June, 2024) has informed that more than eight thousand children aged under five had been treated for acute malnutrition in Gaza since the Hamas-Israel war commenced.

According to Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus twenty-eight of those 8000 kids perished and a major proportion of the Strip’s population was suffering from hunger: “There have already been 32 deaths attributed to malnutrition, including 28 among children under five years old…”.
“Despite reports of increased delivery of food, there is currently no evidence that those who need it most are receiving sufficient quantity and quality of food…”. WHO Chief held:“In the West Bank, as in Gaza, the only solution is peace. The best medicine is peace.”
