RAWALPINDI: ATC Judge Malik Asif Ejaz here has sent Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed to Adiala Jail Wednesday (17th Jan, 2024) on a 14- day judicial remand in the 9 May riots case.

Declining Police request for further physical remand, ATC sent him to prison, after hearing the arguments from both sides.

It may be recalled that he was nabbed on Tuesday (16th Jan, 2024) from outside the court after his bail was rejected on Tuesday.
