LAHORE: Following the announcement of 8 Feb Election results, PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif said here on Friday (9th Feb, 2024) that Shehbaz Sharif would contact independent candidates, PPP, MQM and other parties in order to form a coalition government.
Terming the coalition as unity government he said that all parties would have to endeavor towards taking the country out of crisis.
Maintaining that a decade-long struggle was required to take Pakistan to twenty-first century, Nawaz Sharif said that he did not want to fight with opponents as the country could not afford belligerency.
PML-N Supremo claimed that his party had enough seats to form a government in Punjab as well . Pointing towards skirmishes at borders he said that his govt would want good terms with all.
