Admin Kr. Murtaza Wahab Resigns

KARACHI: Administrator of the Port City Murtaza Wahab has taken to the Twitter to inform: ” I have resigned from the office of Administrator KMC.”

Murtaza Wahab has sent his resignation to CM Murad Ali Shah.

“It was an honor to serve people of my city & I would like to thank my party leadership for giving me this opportunity. May our country function on rule of law, in a manner that allows the Executive & Parliament to function.”

Talking to journalists at a Presser held here on Monday he said that the implementation of the municipal utility tax by the KMC was considered valid by the court but the collection through K-Electric was stopped. According to him after the court verdict he could no longer remain the Karachi Administrator
