ISLAMABAD: MoFA spokesperson took to the X (Twitter) on Friday (19th of Jan, 2024) to inform about post Airspace Violations scenario: “Foreign Minister Jilani spoke with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Amirabdolahian today.
“Foreign Minister Jilani expressed Pakistan’s readiness to work with Iran on all issues based on spirit of mutual trust and cooperation. He underscored the need for closer cooperation on security issues.”

Embassy of Iran in Islamabad stated: “FMs had a very good phone talk to restore relations to a high level. hoping that with my colleague’s help @rahimhayat, we can set a new record in de-escalation for the two brotherly & friendly countries of Iran and Pakistan by returning the ambassadors to the capitals & mutual visits of FMs.”

Rahim Hayat Qureshi, Pakistan’s Additional Secretary for West Asia, held: “Thank you Excellency @rasmou @ IranAmbPak and members of yr team for the constructive efforts made for the early deescalation between the two brotherly countries.“

Ambassador of Iran to Islamabad H. E. Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam stated: “Iran is fully committed to the territorial integrity of brotherly country of ??. Threats like #terrorism are common, also interests. uniquely non-compatative interests + complementary #economy provides a fertile ground to promote geo-economy, #SDO, #security & #Welfare in region.”
