Canadian High Commissioner Wendy Gilmour calls on COAS General Bajwa

RAWALPINDI: Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Wendy Gilmour called on Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here on Monday (25th of October, 2021). 

During the rendezvous, COAS pointed out that in order to avoid humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan the international communities would have to act jointly. COAS and Canadian HC discussed state of regional affairs. COAS stated that Pakistan wanted to maintain multi-domain enduring relationship with Canada.

Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Wendy Gilmour, while pledging to endeavor to further ameliorate the bilateral terms, lauded Pakistan’s role in successful evacuation operations in Afghanistan.
