LAHORE: Majestic Red Fort’s Diwan-e-Aam was the venue where cricket aficionados converged on Sunday (16th Feb 2025) to witness the official launching of ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Conspicuous among others there were brand ambassador for the tournament Tim Southee, former South African batsman JP Duminy and skippers of few teams.
Pakistan’s rich and diverse culture fascinated the audience. Cricket legends spoke apropos their experiences in a panel discussion. Interestingly, no team was available during the opening ceremony.

Murals harboring images of iconic cricketers were unveiled by PCB on all the venues.

ICC Champions Trophy schedule
The tournament will commence on Monday (19th Feb, 2025) in the Port City’s National Stadium when the Green Shirts will clash with Kiwis.
