GUYANA (Providence Stadium): WI Cricket team has beaten PNG by 5 wickets in the second match of ICC T20I WC played here on Sunday (2nd June, 2024).

WI won the toss and invited PNG to bat first. Justifying his decision WI Captain Rovman Powell said it was right for them to bowl first as the wicket was fresh.

PMG scored 136 runs for 8 in the available 20 overs. WI, successfully chased the target and scored 137 for the loss of 5 wickets, with six balls remaining to spare.
