Demonize the country and win accolades: Mazari joins the bandwagon?

MMA

KARACHI: After TV host Muniba Mazari’s husband sued her for defamation, the disability movement of Pakistan has also disassociated itself from her.

Disabled People Organization’s Special Talent Exchange Program chief held that she was not doing anything for the disability movement and was merely cashing in on her disability.

He further maintained that she was demonizing the name of Pakistan by presenting a false image. For instance, as a country where men don’t respect women.

“She shouldn’t be an ambassador of disability for any organization because a representative/ambassador always advocates the right-based approach and equality, not try to gain sympathy. Disability is a diversified way of living, not a brave struggle”, he held.

TV artist Laiba Baig has also charged Mazari for plagiarizing her work.

Cynics wonder has she joined the bandwagon of the likes of Malala and Chinoy whose secret to success seems to be the mantra demonize Pakistan and get accolades fast?
