Govt striving to provide maximum relief to masses: minister

RAJANPUR: Provincial Minister for Irrigation Mohsin Khan Leghari has said that the government is working with dedication to offer maximum relief to masses.

He said that many uplift projects would be given to Rajanpur and other areas of South Punjab in near future. He directed officials of Irrigation department to take strict action against the water thieves.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Afzal Nasir briefed the minister about law and order situation, Ramazan bazaars, wheat purchase campaign, performance of government departments and problems of the masses. On this occasion, MPA Farooq Amanullah Dareshak, and other local politicians were also present.
