Handcarts’ owners urged to abide by laws

PESHAWAR: Chairman District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Fazal Hakeem Khan today said the government does not want to deprive poor people of employment rather committed to providing them basic amenities of life.

He was addressing gathering of handcarts’ owners held at Babuzai area of Mingora Swat. Tehsil Opposition leader Shahid Ali Khan, Tehsil Councilor Iqbal Kaka besides a larger number of handcarts’ owners was present on the occasion.

He said PTI is sincere with poor people as they gave the mandate to party for their socio-economic empowerment adding government is taking measures for the welfare of poor people.

He directed the district administration to cooperate with handcarts owners because they are facing hardships to earn a livelihood for their families.

Fazal Hakeem also directed handcarts’ owners to do their businesses by abiding rules and regulations and refrain from encroachments on roadsides that cause traffic mess.
