Heatwave will lash Karachi for a week

KARACHI: A heatwave alert has been issued by the Meteo Dept today (11th of Oct.) warning the Karachiites of a heatwave that could scorch the Port City for next one week. 

According to details the temperature is expected to hover around 42 degrees C due to a high-pressure area that is expected to be formed in Central Asia which would induce wind to flow from North to Northwest in Karachi and some other regions of Sindh.

Citoyens have been advised to stay indoors particularly during 11am till 4pm. After that the mercury will plummet to 25 degrees or lower.
