IHC dismisses petition seeking ban on Sharif’s speeches

ISLAMABAD: IHC has dismissed a petition seeking a ban on Nawaz Sharif’s speeches.

It is pertinent to mention here that the petition heard by the Chief Justice of IHC Athar Minalla noted that tendency of invoking the constitutional jurisdiction of a high court in matters involving political content was certainly not in public interest.

The court was urged to order removal of Nawaz Sharif’s  speeches from the internet and he be prohibited delivering such speeches.
