RAWALPINDI (ADIALA JAIL)/LAHORE (KOT LAKHPAT JAIL): PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been indicted on Thursday (12th December, 2024) in Toshakhana-2 case by Shahrukh Arjumand Judge of Special Court Central-I in Adiala Jail..

Both defendants Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, who were present in the court room denied the charges as Judge Shah Rukh Arjumand read the charges and adjourned the hearing. It is pertinent to mention here that on 1st day of April IHC had suspended the 14-year sentences of Imran Khan and his wife handed out to them in Toshakhana-1 reference by an accountability court on 31st of January.

Meanwhile, in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail ATC Judge Manzar Ali Gul indicted former FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi, PTI Punjab President Dr. Yasmin Rashid, former governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema, Senator Ejaz Ch. and Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed in the Shadman Police Station attack that was carried out on 9th day of May, 2024. All defendants denied the charges.
