ISLAMABAD: Following issuance of a Red Warrant by Interpol, a fugitive identified as Rafiullah, wanted for a murder (committed a couple of years ago in Punjab), was nabbed by FIA from KSA and extradited to Pakistan.
The accused fled to KSA after he was nominated in a FIR registered at Mianwali’s Kalabagh Police Station. Commenting on the development FIA stated: “This arrest underscores the advanced technological capabilities and 24/7 communication network, enabling effective global coordination.”
Pakistan had requested Interpol for the issuance of Red Warrant, after that authorities in Islamabad and Riyadh collaborated to apprehend the accused by means of latest methods of investigation. Soon after his arrival here, Rafiullah was handed over to the personnel of Kalabagh Police Station.
