TIBET: A 7.1 magnitude earthquake, at a depth of 10 km, and dozens of aftershocks on Tuesday (7th Jan, 2025) shook the high-altitude region of Western China and across the border in Nepal, killing 125, injuring 200 people and destroying 1000 houses.

Debris, that fell from batiments, blocked the entranced of houses and crushed vehicles on the roads, are being removed by rescue workers. Pakistani FO, expressing condolences over the loss of lives, has extended its support to the citoyens and the government of China.
