Islamabad Mayoral polls set to be done on February 15

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)  Monday released schedule for elections of Islamabad’s first Mayor and Deputy Mayors, a statement said.

Nomination papers for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the newly-established Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation will be filed on Wednesday.

Final list of candidates will be issued on February 12.

Polling for the first-ever election of Mayor and Deputy Mayors of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation will be held on the fifteenth.
