Justice Hilali becomes the first female CJ of PHC


PESHAWAR: Justice Musarrat Hilali has taken oath on Saturday (1st of April, 2023) to become the the first-ever woman to be appointed as Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC).

KP Governor Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath at a ceremony held at the Governor House.

Justice Musarrat Hilali, who was born on 8th of August, 1961, happens to be the senior-most judge of PHC.

She will be retiring on 7th day of August, 2023. Graduate of Khyber Law College (University of Peshawar) Hilali was enrolled as an advocate of the SCP in 2006.
