Justice Qazi Faez Isa to be the next CJP

ISLAMABAD: Justice Qazi Faez Isa will become the CJP on 17th day of September, 2023 a day after Justice Umar Ata Bandial will reach the age of superannuation under Article 179 of the Constitution.

Meanwhile President President Dr Arif Alvi on Wednesday (21st of June, 2023) formally approved his appointment under Article 174A(3) of the Constitution.

President Dr. Arif Alvi will administer the oath of office to Justice Qazi Faez Isa on 17th of June, 2023.

The president, who appointed Justice Qazi Faez Isa under Article 175A (3) of the Constitution, would also administer the oath of office to him on September 17, 2023.
