Media Workers protest in front of Sindh Assembly!

KARACHI: A large number of Media Workers converged in front of Sindh Assembly Thursday (7th of February) to stage a sit-in protesting against forced dismissals and non-payment of dues.

Office bearers of various journalists’ organizations,  while addressing the protesters strongly condemned the Media House owners for sacking the journalists and non-payment of salaries. 

This was the fourth phase of the journalists’ protests that is gaining momentum day by day. On Wednesday a protest camp was established at M.A. Jinnah Road at the entrance of Nawa-e-Waqt. From there the protesters walked towards Business Recorder Road to protest in front of Aaj TV office. Earlier a sit-in was staged in front of Jung/Geo offices at I.I. Chundrigar Road.
