Men in green beat N. Zealand to bag T-20 top slot!

BAY OVAL IN MOUNT MAUNGANUI: Despite Martin Guptill’s half century, host New Zealand lost the last bout of the 3-match series allowing Pakistan reclaim its top position in T20I cricket.

From Pakistan side too Fakhar Zaman scored half a ton but it was the pacers who contained the kiwis’ hot pursuit of 181 runs.

After suffering humiliating defeat in the ODI series during which they could not win any match this T20I victory (by 18 runs) was like injection of adrenaline for the team. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan earlier won the 2nd ODI conveniently.
