Missing writer: Pakistan welcomes Saudi-Turkish probe!

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has welcomed Saudi and Turkish efforts to jointly look into the matter of disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey.

Talking to media here today the FO spokesman said Pakistan hoped that the two brotherly countries would be able to jointly address the matter.

He underscored Pakistan’s close and fraternal relationship with both Turkey and Saudi Arabia. A spokesperson said the investigation is ongoing and it would, therefore, be appropriate to await the outcome.
