MQM’s Shahid Pasha released after 40 days of detention




KARACHI: After keeping in 40 days detention, Rangers on Wednesday have released Deputy Convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rabita Committee Shahid Pasha.

Rangers arrested Pasha on March 21 during a raid on his residence in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. According to Rangers, Pasha had been charged with providing arms to terrorists.

However, the reason of Pasha’s release is still unknown.
