MANHATTAN: Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to UN, while speaking during the UNSC meeting held here on Thursday (19th September, 2024), has pointed out that the 34th report of the UN monitoring team had shed sufficient light on the disturbing dimension of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan.
Calling TTP the largest terrorist organisation in Afghanistan, Munir Akram pointed out that the militants were conducting daily terrorist attacks against Pakistan with full support of the Afghan Interim Government. Ambassador Akram held that his country was ready to cooperate with regional and international organisations to get rid of the TTP menace. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to supporting a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
