NAB raids former fin. minister Miftah Ismail’s residence/office

KARACHI: NAB personnel raided the house of former finance minister Miftah Ismail here today but he was not available there.

Sources privy to NPTV have informed that NAB later conducted raid at his office situated at Shahrah-e-Faisal.

Earlier NAB had arrested former PM and PML-N VP Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from Lahore in a multi-billion rupee LNG scandal.

NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal had signed arrest warrant of Miftah who is allegedly involved in the same scam. 

Former PM, former finance minister and others are accused of awarding LNG terminal contract to their favorite company inflicting national exchequer billions of rupees losses.
