ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) has made it clear on Thursday (11th July, 2024) that Pakistan has no designs of entering into any talks with a terror group (TTP) that has been involved in killings of Pakistani citizens.

FO maintained that Pakistan was concerned about the terror threat that it faced from individuals and entities which had support and sponsorship from across the border in Afghanistan.

Spokesperson of FO further holding that Pakistan respected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Afghanistan, stated: “We expect the Afghan authorities to uphold their sovereignty and take action against those terror groups which have found sanctuaries inside Afghanistan and are using Afghan territory to attack Pakistan.”
