Pakistani aid for Ukraine

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan has dispatched the second humanitarian aid consignment to Ukraine on 2nd of June, 2022. 

The relief supplies include essential medicines, blankets and rations which will arrive in Ukraine via Poland on two C-130 of Pakistan Air Force.

An official ceremony was held at Noor Khan Base Rawalpindi for the departure of the second consignment of relief goods to Ukraine.

During the ceremony, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar handed over the relief supplies to the Ambassador of Ukraine, Markian Chouchak.

Talking on the occasion, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs said Pakistan values its bilateral relations with Ukraine over the last three decades.

Expressing deep concern over the ongoing war in Ukraine, she stressed that the two countries should resolve issues through dialogue and diplomacy.

The Ambassador of Ukraine thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for sending aid to the people of Ukraine in this hour of need.

The Ambassador said that Ukraine truly sees this assistance as a sign of goodwill and compassion on the part of the Pakistani government and people.
