Pakistani classic ‘Anarkali’ to be screened at Virsa Media Centre on May 7




ISLAMABAD: 1958 Pakistani-hit classic film Anarkali will be screened at Virsa Media Centre on May 07, 2016.

Lok Virsa Mandwa Film Club will organize the screening of the film Anarkali.

The movie was a big hit with the magical voice of Queen of Melody Madam Noor Jehan. The music of the film was composed by two famous music directors Rasheed Attre and Master Inayat Hussain Bhatti, giving the movie a hit song ‘Sada Hoon Apnay Pyar Ki’.

The film featured Noor Jehan as Anarkali, Sudhir as Shahzada Saleem, Ragni as Dilaram, Shamim Ara Zarif Fazal Haq and Hamalia Wala as Akbar The Great.

The movie was produced by Mukhtar Ahmad and directed by Anwar Kamal Pasha while the story was written by Imtiaz Ali Taj.
