SANDILLON COMMUNE: Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Envoy here, visited the equestrian training camp of Pakistan Eventing Paris Olympics 2024.

At the camp he met renowned trainer Pierre Defrance, who is presently coaching Pakistan’s Olympic hopeful horse-rider Usman Khan.

Pakistani horse rider Usman Khan and his horse Mairaj secured a spot in the Paris Olympics. Earlier, he also qualified for the Tokyo Olympics but before the games met an accident that killed his horse.

Appreciating Usman’s performance at the training facility, Asim Khan wished him good luck. In the Summer Games Usman, alongwith his horse Mairaj, will manifest the skills in eventing (cross-country, showjumping, and dressage).

Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad also rode the Usman Khan’s horse named Mairaj.
