PM Abbasi arrives in Karachi to chair meeting on law and order situation

KARACHI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi arrived in the city today for a day-long visit on the maiden trip after being elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

He was received by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Governor Mohammad Zubair at Karachi airport.

Abbasi was then taken to the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, where he laid a floral wreath.

The premier will chair a meeting on the law and order situation of the metropolis at Governor House. During the meeting, security institutions will brief him about the targeted operation underway in the metropolis.
