PM felicitates newly appointed COAS, CJCSC

ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Syed Asim Munir held separate meetings with PM Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday (24th Nov 2022).

The PM congratulated Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Lieutenant General Syed Asim Munir and expressed his best wishes for their new responsibilities.

The PM expressed hope that the armed forces under the leadership of both Lieutenant Generals will effectively deal with the challenges facing the national security and continue to play an important role in completely eradicating the menace of terrorism from the country.
