PM meets COAS, lauds army’s achievements in fight against terrorism

RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi today met the Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa for the first time after taking office.

The two high-ups held the meeting at the PM House where they discussed “professional matters pertaining to the Pakistan army”.

“The Prime Minister applauded the army’s achievements in Operation Raddul Fasaad and Operation Khyber IV. He said that “the entire nation is proud of the sacrifices rendered by security personnel in ridding the motherland from the menace of terrorism”,” said a statement issued by the PM House.
