Retaliating to Indian CFVs along LoC Pak Army kills six Indian soldiers!

LoC: Retaliating to the Ceasefire Violations Pak Army has killed six Indian soldiers (including an officer) and destroyed two bunkers here today.

It is pertinent to mention here that Indian troops had once again resorted to unprovoked firing at Line of Control in Tatta Pani Sector as a result three Pakistani civilians including a seven-year-old boy lost their lives yesterday (19th of August, 2019).

DGISPR

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) had summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia to condemn the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian border forces along the LoC in Hot Spring and Chirikot Sectors on Monday (19th of August, 2019).

According to details a 7-year-old boy named Saddam was seriously injured in that firing incident, and succumbed to his injuries on Monday: “The Indian occupation forces along the LoC and Working Boundary have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons, which still continues.”

FO statement pointed out that this unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by Indian forces has been going on since the year 2017, when they committed 1970 such violations: “The deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarian laws.”

It has further been maintained by the FO that India’s ceasefire violations were a threat to regional peace and security and might lead to a strategic miscalculation. FO Director General (South Asia and Saarc) Dr Muhammad Faisal urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 ceasefire agreement.

New Delhi has further been asked to investigate incidents of ceasefire violations and to instruct Indian forces to respect the ceasefire in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC and the Working Boundary.
