Sindh Govt to conduct free annual blood screening of all students of the Province

KARACHI: The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah after meeting DG Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) Major General Musarrat Nawaz Malik at CM House here today has decided to conduct annual blood screening of all students in the province on government expenses.  

He said that after learning about rampant drug abuse by students in federal capital he got apprehensive about the Sindh hostels’ boarders.

Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh government needed ANF support to address the drug-related catastrophe. DG ANF said his organization too required Sindh Government’s assistance to combat the menace.

CM Sindh said his government that had already launched a targeted operation against drug mafia, needed ANF help to eliminate the organized gangs patronizing drug pushers in cities.

The huddle also pondered upon necessity of screening students’ blood in order to gauge their health issues.
