KHAIRPUR: Fayyaz Solangi, who went missing on 12th January, faked his own kidnapping claiming the dacoits had abducted him for a ransom of one crore rupees.
When he posted a video of himself chained and being tortured, CM Sindh directed IGP to secure his release. Later it transpired that Solangi with the help of his uncle staged the kidnapping drama.
While Fayyaz Solangi and his uncle were nabbed by Police, his employer KTN News Group, dismissed him for faking his own kidnapping.
