American Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, while talking to journalists at a Presser reminded that the joint force was ready when summoned. Similarly, Sec Defense Pete Hegseth stated that Military stood ready in order to make sure that Tehran upholds the terms of truce.

Taking to the Truth Social, President Donald Trump stated: “The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive Regime Change! There will be no enrichment of Uranium, and the United States will, working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers) Nuclear “Dust.” It is now, and has been, under very exacting Satellite Surveillance (Space Force!).

“Nothing has been touched from the date of attack. We are, and will be, talking Tariff and Sanctions relief with Iran. Many of the 15 points have already been been agreed to”. Donald Trump further warned: “A Country supplying Military Weapons to Iran will be immediately tariffed, on any and all goods sold to the United States of America, 50%, effective immediately. There will be no exclusions or exemptions!”

President Masoud Pezeshkian posted on X: “In response to the brotherly request of PM Sharif in his tweet, and considering the request by the US for negotiations based on its 15-point proposal as well as announcement by POTUS about acceptance of the general framework of Iran’s 10-point proposal as a basis for negotiations,

I hereby declare on behalf of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council: If attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful armed forces will cease their defensive operations…For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran’s Armed Forces and with due consideration of technical limitations.”

Masoud Pezeshkian maintained: “The ceasefire, with the acce ptance of the general principles desired by Iran, was the fruit of the blood of our great martyred leader Khamenei…And the achievement of the presence of all the people on the scene. From today onward, we will also remain together. Whether in the field of diplomacy, whether in the field of defence, whether on the street scene, and whether in the arena of service provision.”

President Tayyip Erdogan, taking to the X assured that Türkiye would continue to support efforts towards a lasting peace: “We are pleased with the ceasefire announced last night in the war that has turned our region into a scene of devastation since February 28. We hope that the ceasefire will be fully implemented on the ground without providing any opportunity for possible provocations and sabotage.

“We wholeheartedly congratulate all actors who contributed to the process leading to the declaration of the ceasefire, especially our friendly and brotherly Pakistan. It is our sincere wish that our geography, which has suffered greatly from wars, conflicts, tensions, and oppressions, will soon attain peace, tranquility, and stability. Türkiye will continue to raise the voice of peace in its region and in the world.

Foreign Ministry of Kuwait appreciated the efforts exerted to reach this announcement, and primarily the role played by Pakistan in “sparing the region further escalation!” EU maintained: “We have the news of the ceasefire. We’re welcoming it. As the High Representative (Kaja Kallas) has said, we have a window in terms of mediation that needs to stay open and then we take it from there.”

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed towards the importance of full adherence to the ceasefire: “Qatar expresses its welcoming of the announcement of the ceasefire… considering it an initial step toward de-escalation”. In a joint statement leaders of France, Italy, Germany, Britain, Canada, Denmark, Holland, Spain & EU maintained: “The goal must now be to negotiate a swift and lasting end to the war within the coming days. This can only be achieved through diplomatic means.”

Emmanuel Macron “while commenting about the Iran-US truce, said: “We expect, in the coming days and weeks, that it will be fully respected throughout the region and will allow negotiations to take place.”

It may be recalled that in his 7th April, 2026 post in Truth Social President Donald Trump had threatened: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail,…

“…maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
