Petrol price slashed by Rs. 5.66/litre

ISLAMABAD: For the next fortnight (16th to 31st Oct, 2025), the citoyens will be able to purchase a litre of petrol for Rs. 263.02 following a reduction of Rs. 5.66/l by the Government.

According to notification the Govt has adjusted the prices of petroleum products for the fortnight (starting 16.10.2025), based on the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the relevant Ministries.

Notification:

High Speed Diesel (HSD) will be available for Rs. 275.41/litre after a decrease of Rs. 1.39/l. Price of Superior Kerosene Oil has also been slashed and instead of Rs. 184.97/l citizens will get it for Rs. 181.71 after a reduction of Rs. 3.26/litre. Moreover, price of Light Diesel Oil has also been reduced by Rs. 2.74/litre. Now a litre of LDO could be acquired for Rs. 162.76 (instead of Rs. 165.50/l).
