ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister Amir Muqam will travel to Bishkek on Sunday (19th May, 2024) to assist Pakistani students who were victims of the ongoing unrest there.
The duo is expected to meet the govt officials in order to ensure the safety of Pakistani students.
They will also be meeting all the Pakistani pupils, particularly those who got injured during the unrest and make sure that they get the best possible treatment.
Those students who want to leave Bishkek will also be brought back to Pakistan.

BISHKEK: It is pertinent to mention here that, like many other countries in the world, there is a large group of Pakistanis who are (after overstaying their visas are) working here as illegal immigrants. Taking advantage of the recent unrest 28 Pakistanis were nabbed for working illegally. It seems that the locals are also tired of foreigners encroaching upon their economic opportunities.
