Christians role in education sector praised

ISLAMABAD: Feeling proud over the patriotism of Pakistani Christian community, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed eulogized them for their greater role in the education sector and thanked them for building future generations.
He expressed these views here at an event organized by Full Gospel Assembly Church Islamabad in connection with Christmas celebrations. Addressing the participants, he said that not a single Christian was found involved in money laundering in the country’s history.
He said they were most resilient and capable citizens of the country and pledged to offer more jobs to them in Pakistan Railways.
The minister said every religion of the world taught humanity, love, and peace, regretting that some elements in the country only preached hatred among the people.
Sheikh Rashid congratulated them on Christmas and cut a cake with the minorities’ children. Meanwhile, the Christian community presented tableau performance to highlight the message of ‘Yasu’ and prayed to God for cementing religious harmony among the nation.
