ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Industries and Production on Friday (23rd August, 2024) has confirmed that Govt of Pakistan, determined to get out of non-essential businesses and reduce expenses, was planning to shut all Utility Stores down.

Meanwhile, work is in progress to absorb all the 14,500 workers in other entities being run by the government.
