Commonwealth Games: Pakistani wrestler wins gold medal!

GOLD COAST: Wrestler Muhammad Inam of Pakistan won a gold medal in Freestyle 86 kg category for his country here at Carrara Arena today in the Commonwealth Games beating Nigeria’s Bibo by 3:0.

29-year-old Inam managed to win six technical points while his opponent failed to win any.  In the semifinal Inam was given victory by fall against Alexander Moore of Canada. Earlier Inam secured ten points against Indian Somveer in the quarter final and won the bout by technical superiority.

With 1 gold and 4 bronzes the Nuclear Power Pakistan stands on 22nd place after Papua New Guinea, Bahamas, Northern Island, Trinidad & Tobago, Samoa, Uganda and Botswana etc. :
