Int’l Women’s Day to be observed on March 8

ISLAMABAD: International Women’s Day is being observed in Pakistan as elsewhere in the world on Tuesday to highlight services of women for the society, according to Radio Pakistan.

The theme of the day this year is #Pledge For Parity.

Various political, social, cultural and educational organizations will organize functions to mark the day.

Conferences, seminars, exhibitions, festivals and concerts will be held to highlight women’s economic, political and social rights and raise issues faced by women in society.
