Journalists protest before Capital TV office against dismissals!

KARACHI: Media Workers, Artists, Members of Civil Society, Labour Unions’ Leaders converged in front of Capital TV office to protest against forced dismissals and non-payment of salaries/dues to the journalists.

Addressing the protesting ladies and gentlemen, President Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists  (PFUJ) G M Jamali narrated the abject condition sacked journalists are living in. He reminded the Media Houses’ Owners that the same journalists toiled day and night for their organizations and it was because of their hard work Media Houses’ owners were now cozily sitting at the pinnacles of fame and fortune.

President PFUJ G M Jamali has demanded the Provincial and Federal Governments to play their role in order to assuage the deteriorating condition of the Media Workers.
