Parents, teachers should come forward to play role for quality education

KHANEWAL: Chief Executive Officer of Education Shaukat Ali Sherani here on Tuesday expressed that parents and teachers should come forward to play their effective role for the quality education thus increasing the literacy rate in the country.

He said that teachers should present themselves as a role model and stern action would be taken against corrupt staff and duty shirkers.

He said that as per the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab in all education institutions of the district classroom being well equipping and taking steps for class monitoring system for better education.

He said that provision of quality education was a main agenda of the present government.

He expressed that surprise visits was being started to check the performance of schools.

The stern action will be taken against absent teachers and any negligence could not be tolerated.

Shaukat underlined that promotion, transfers and enrollment of the teaches would through merit and corrupt people to be accountable.
