KARACHI: Former HEC Chairman Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman met Vice Chancellor of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST), Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwarii.
Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman greeted Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwarii on his appointment as the VC FUUAST.
Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman said that only research could increase the overall quality of higher education.
“Research can also help in identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in areas of need”, he maintained.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman assured the VC FUUAST of his full support in solving the issues of Urdu University.
Prof. Dr. Zabata Khan Shinwari thanked Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman for his cooperation and said that the commitment of a personality like Dr. Atta to all kinds of cooperation with the FUUAST is welcome for the institution.
Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari said that the business community and the institutions working for the betterment of the city should cooperate in solving the issues of Urdu University so that the institution can work in a better way.
Prof. Dr. Rubina Mushtaq, Acting Registrar Muhammad Siddique, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zahid, Prof. Dr. Masood Mashkoor, Danish Ehsan, Dr. Kamal Haider, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, Dr. Kamran Ahsan, Ghiyasuddin were also present on this occasion.
