S. WAZIRISTAN: Security forces have neutralized eight militants who attempted to attack their check post in general area Makeen here between the Thu, Fri (19th, 20th Dec 2024) night.
During exchange of fire Havaldar Ayub Khan, Sepoy Junaid (Shangla District), Sepoy Junaid Sawati (Khyber District), Sepoy Kalim Ullah, Sepoy Mehboob Rehman, Sepoy Faiz Muhammad, Sepoy Ihsan Ul Haq, Sepoy Tayyab Ali, Havaldar Tahir Mehmood, Lance Naik Muhammad Ishaq, Lance Naik Hamid Ali, Lance Naik Mussawir Shaheen, Havaldar Umer Hayat, Lance Naik Sher Muhammad, Havaldar Muhammad Hayat and Lance Naik Liaquat Ali made the ultimate sacrifice.
At the Pak-Afghan Border security forces neutralised 4 militants who were trying to enter Pakistan at Rajgal area to carry out acts of terrorism. A Sepoy, identified as Amir Sohail Afridi, made the ultimate sacrifice during exchange of fire.
