Cricket, 3rd and final T20I: Aussies Sweep Green Shirts

HOBART’S BELLERIVE OVAL: Australian cricket team bulldozed Pakistan by winning the 3rd and final T20I by 7 wickets here on Monday (18th Nov, 2024).

Pakistani Skipper Salman Agha won the toss and opted to bat in the 3rd and final T20I against Australia.

Pakistan were all out at 117 runs in 18.1 overs. Australia achieved the target in 11.2 over for the loss of three wickets. Aussie Aaron Hardie hunted three Pakistani scalps yielding 21 runs while Adam Zampa demolished visiting team’s batting order by sending 2 batters back to pavilion scoring 11 runs. Although Babar Azam tried to salvage the sinking ship with 41 runs off 28 balls, he miscalculated Zampa’s bowling and was bowled in the 13th over.

FIRST T20I: Australian cricket team has beaten Pakistan by 29 runs in the first T20I (truncated to seven overs per side due to heavy rain and lightning) played Thursday (14th Nov 2024) on Brisbane Cricket Ground. Glenn Maxwell scored 43 off 19 balls enabling his team to score 93/4, setting an imposing target for the visitors. Pakistan only scored 67 runs for the loss of 9 wickets as its middle-order collapsed.
