WASHINGTON: Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Envoy of Pakistan here, separately met members of US Congress Randy Weber, John Rutherford, Maxine Waters and Sylvia R. Garcia to change notes apropos bilateral ties in diverse fields.
Rizwan Saeed lauded the members of Congress for manifesting profound interest in bilateral ties with Pakistan. During the rendezvous, Pakistani Ambassador attempted to figure out means to augment the Pak-US cooperation and deepening exposure in trade, investment, IT, defence, security, agriculture and people-to-people contacts and diaspora linkages.
Economic interaction with Texas was particularly identified as a platform for active engagement. Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, who replaced Masood Khan, assumed responsibilities here on 21st of August, 2024.
